Houston Website Development and Promotion

Like any large city in the United States, Houston has it's share of companies that provide support services for other businesses. In the online world this generally means services in web development and marketing. Good old fashioned design skills and elbow grease for human oriented marketing approaches are becoming favorable once again as the benefits of editorial review for public oriented promotions is being proven in the social media sphere of Twitter, Facebook, Google +1, Stumbleupon and Linkedin.

Search engines Google and Bing/Yahoo have publicly acknowledged that social signals can impact a company's website rankings. For example, Bing has a known relationship and access to Facebook that Google is not privy too, while Google gains the lion's share of signals from users through their acquisition of Doubleclick and their house analytics system deployed on a majority of branded websites.

In some ways there is a similar effort going on through San Diego profiles, a web-based effort to promote San Diego business partnerships with area non-profits via link development and PR releases.

Houston Animal Rescue Links

My friends know how much I love animals .. especially dogs. But pretty much all of the Great Creator's creatures are tops in my book. I've even swam with sharks and was really psyched about that. I did it solo off the coast of California. Yep, I am a bit wonkers for animals.

Houston has some important resources if you too are an animal lover and have the means to lend a hand for those creatures who have a need. Mostly these are for companion pets (IE dogs + cats)

This should give you a good start. If you have a home you can share with a cuddly cat or dog, then go for it!
